Mail order Delivery Information
Prices shown on the mail order pages do not include the £12.00 delivery charge. The total cost of your order, including delivery, will be displayed at checkout, so that you can see the total cost before confirming your order.
Because our cakes are freshly baked and decorated to order, we require that you place your order no later than 12 noon, 3 working days before your chosen delivery date. For example, if you require delivery on Thursday, we must have your order by 12 noon on Monday. Working days are Monday to Friday, but do not include bank holidays.
We will dispatch your cake the day before your requested delivery date by a reliable overnight courier service. Once the cake is in the hands of the courier, we have no control over the delivery process. For this reason, we recommend that you choose a delivery date at least one day early to allow for any unforeseen circumstances. We do not deliver on Mondays, weekends, bank holidays, or the day after a bank holiday to avoid cakes being in transit for too long.
If required as a gift, a cake may be sent to an address other than your own. If no one is available to receive the parcel delivered by courier, a card will be left with details of how to rearrange the delivery or how you can collect the parcel.
We deliver cakes only within the UK. We are also unable to deliver to addresses in these locations:
- Channel Islands
- Scottish Highlands and Islands and some remote Scottish Postcodes
- Isle of Wight
- Isle of Man
- Isle of Scilly
- Northern Ireland
We will not issue a refund for minor damage which might occur during transit. However, if the cake arrives damaged beyond reasonable use, return the cake to us for a refund. You must return the cake in the original packaging. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for the return postage.
